This logical reasoning test comprises 11 questions, each containing a grid of symbols. In each question one of the symbols is missing. Your task is to choose which one of the options best fits the missing symbol.

Each question will have 12 possible answers, one of which is correct. You will have to work quickly and accurately to perform well in this test. There is no overall time limit for the test, but to make this test more realistic, you may place a time limit of 50 seconds or less for each question.

Rule 1: From left to right, each shape moves two places to the right. This continues onto the next row

Rule 2: From left to right, the ‘filled shape’ moves one place to the right. This continues onto the next row (looping around to the first shape).

Rule 1: From left to right, the shape rotates 135° counter-clockwise.

Rule 2: From left to right, the highlighted prong moves one space clockwise.

Rule 1: Each box must contain a total of ten edges.

Rule 2: From left to right, final shape becomes the first shape of the next box.

Rule 1: The four corners composite into the middle shape. Rule 2: The four sides composite into the middle shape.

Rule 1: From left to right, the matrix rotates 45°

Rule 2: From left to right, the total number of shaded circles per box decreases by one and remains in the same place. The pattern that is left retains some symmetry.

(Alternatively, the number of unshaded circles increases by one).

Rule 1: From left to right, the second symbol becomes the first symbol of the next box. This continues on to the next line.

Rule 2: From top to bottom, the first symbol becomes the second symbol of the next box. The bottom box of each column carried on to the next column.

Rule 1: From left to right, the cross on the left symbol moves in the sequence: up, down,

left, right and repeats. Alternatively, the symbols on the NW-SE diagonal are identical

Rule 2: From top to bottom, the right hand symbol rotates 45° anticlockwise.

Rule 1: From top to bottom, the notches move clockwise to the next corner. Alternatively, from left to right, the notches move to the next corner anticlockwise. This continues onto the next row.

Rule 2: From left to right, the total number of notches in each box increases by one. This continues onto the next row.

Rule 1: In columns, the middle arrow is the same at the top row as the bottom row. Rule 2: The left and right arrows will copy each other in position.

Rule 1: Each column and row has one box with a single line symbol, one box with a double line symbol, and one box with a triple line symbol.

Rule 2: Each column and row has two lines that are bold.

Rule 1: From left to right, the rightmost and leftmost arrow rotates 90° clockwise.

Rule 2: Each row and column, has one box with both central arrows facing up, one box with both central arrows facing down, and one box with the central arrows facing opposite directions.
